Advise on COVID-19
To all locums,
We hope you are all healthy and well. In light of the current COVID-19 situation and the impact it could have on the industry, we wanted to address a few issues.
We understand the concerns you have about cancelled clinics and lost earnings. However, due to the close proximity we have with patients and the potential high number of elderly or vulnerable patients we see, it is vital that you please follow the guidance set out by Public Health England and the NHS. If you present with symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how slight, you should not attend work and self isolate. Moreover if anyone in your household presents with symptoms you should also self isolate yourself. The latest advice on how long to isolate for can be found here:
If you need to cancel work because you have been advised to self-isolate (regardless of whether you have booked with us or not) it is vital to let the organisations involved know as soon as possible. Cancellations at this time will not impact you negatively. Alternatively, please understand we may have to cancel your clinics, sometimes at very short notice, due to the evolving situation.
